How quickly will you respond?
I typically respond within one to two business days. If you have an urgent request — like a workshop date coming up soon — mention it in your message and I'll prioritize accordingly.
Do you offer private lessons or one-on-one coaching?
Yes, in limited availability. I work with musicians who are making the transition from acoustic to electric violin and with educators developing electric string programs. Select "Private Lessons or Coaching" in the contact form above to get started.
Can you come to my school or music program?
Absolutely. I offer in-person workshops, residencies, and professional development sessions for school music programs. Availability varies by semester — reach out early if you have a specific date in mind. You can also explore the Educator Programs page for full details.
I'm a complete beginner — is this for me?
If you play acoustic violin (or another bowed string instrument) at any level, you're in the right place. The curriculum is designed for musicians who already know their instrument and want to understand the electric side of things — gear, signal chains, looping, and tone shaping — from the ground up.
What gear do I need before reaching out?
None — that's often the first thing we figure out together. Knowing what gear to buy (and in what order) is one of the most common questions, and one of the things EVL content addresses directly. Reach out first, then buy gear with intention.
